Formed in Paris in the mid 90's. The band started off playing in local pubs. The band then, was known for their Prince and Hank Williams cover. In '97 the band adapted the name Pheonix. And pressed only 500 singles on their label, Ghettoblaster. Shortly after, they got signed to the same label as the band Air. And toured with the band and appeared in numorous TV shows. In 2000, they release their first full length album, United. Which featured Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk. 3 albums later and 9 year later. The band releases Wolfgang Amadeus. The band has one of the most consistent, eclectic, pop, punk, electronic fused sound around. Their tracks consist of catchy hooks and melodies. And you will sure hooked.
